The Eagle Inn - Santa Barbara

Expect a charming experience at the Eagle Inn, though my welcome was a bit underwhelming. The spacious room with a nice fireplace made it cozy, and the breakfast was decent, yet lacked variety. It’s a good place, but some areas need improvement.

Very nice overall experience. The rooms with 2 queen beds. Freshly cooked breakfast choice with waffle, the nighty rate and vegan option. Great service and good value.

Very cozy and romantic. Loved the fact that they had treats for us in the room like fruit, water, chocolate, and some type of chocolate bread...loved that hot tub was decorated with real rose petals.

The location was awesome, only blocks away from the beach! Only about 10mins walking distance from downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel was small but really clean and relaxing.

Although the hotel was super clean and a nice location it was pricey.

Loved the Santa Barbara flavor and the quiet but close location to the wharf and restauranrs.

We would have liked the breakfast to begin earlier

A beautiful hotel with really nice comfortable rooms. In a great location only minutes away from the beach and a 10 minute walk from the main nightlife.

Perfect! We simply loved our stay at one of the cottages at Eagle Inn. Everything was spotless and loved the sheets on our bed so much that I plan to order some for ourselves. Even our breakfast was delivered to our front door each morning. We would certainly stay there again.

A quiete hotel located in walking distance to a number of good restaurants in the beach area.

Good location, convenient to downtown Santa Barbara and harbor area

Bed was uncomfortable and room had a musty smell. It was overcome by ceiling fan and windows openning at night. Hotel was fully booked so no alternative rooms available; I would ask for a 2nd or 3rd floor room

I liked the innkeeper taking the time to give us personal service.

Good location in a nice residential area close to beach and harbour, friendly staff, confortable beds and nice breakfast. In walkable distance to beaches, restaurants and shopping area, which was a nice change compared to some other places.

Our bedroom was a bit on the dark side and stuffy, might have been worth going for an upgraded room (i.e. suites).

Quiet location with ample on-site car park and within easy walking distance of the beach, good restaurants, railway station and shops. The hotel and room decor and facilities to a very good standard, including a balcony and log-effect enclosed gas fire. Good healthy breakfast selection.

Totally recommend for a brief weekend stay

Charming inn, excellent location, with spacious rooms complete with air conditioning, where I enjoyed quiet mornings in the lovely outdoor dining area and appreciated the attentive front desk staff who were always cheerful and helpful.

Was all great.

The hotel was excellent in every way. The breakfast was really good with fresh fruit to start. Its position is ideal for visiting the beach or the town.
